Rathcormac is to see the formation of the village’s very first Men’s Shed following an initial information meeting held on Thursday last.
Meeting at Rathcormac Community Centre at around 11.30am, approximately ten local men gathered to discuss the formation of the group and how they would progress the new community initiative.
According to founding member, Dan Dooley, the next steps for the Rathcormac Men’s Shed is to become affiliated with the Irish Men’s Sheds Association and begin looking for a more permanent base.
