Mitchelstown’s Remote Working Hub officially opened

Cllr Deirdre O’Brien, Cllr Frank O’Flynn, Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development Jerry Buttimer TD, Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Joe Carroll, Cllr. Kay Dawson, Deputy Noel McCarthy, and Chief Executive of Cork County Council Moira Murrell at the Mitchelstown Hub opening.

Mitchelstown’s new flexible work hub, located upstairs in the library building, was formally opened on Friday last, June 20th.

Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr Joe Carroll, Minister of State with responsibility for Community Development Jerry Buttimer TD, and Chief Executive of Cork County Council Moira Murrell were among those to launch the new facility, alongside another in Cobh which opened on the same day.

Speaking at the opening in Mitchelstown, Mayor Joe Carroll said that it was ‘wonderful’ to see the enthusiasm and community support surrounding the opening.
