Parents, students, teachers and special guests gathered together on Tuesday evening at Coláiste Fionnchua, Mitchelstown, in celebration of a school community that is undergoing a positive, progressive evolution.
The school, which is governed by the Cork Education and Training Board (CETB), has been experiencing a transformation of sorts, a result of the implementation of a tailored Strategic Plan, which was officially launched and showcased at Tuesday's event.
The Strategic Plan kicked off in the most recent school year of 2018/2019 and is based on a three-year time frame, incorporating six fundamental keystones: I.C.T. (Information and Communications Technology); Extra-Curricular Activity; Parent and Student Voice; Wellbeing; JCT (Junior Cycle for Teachers) and Academic Excellence.
