Mitchelstown and Fermoy Musical Societies win at AIMS Awards

Mitchelstown and Fermoy Musical Societies proved to have top-notch productions once again as both received awards at the 2024-2025 Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) awards over the weekend.

Paul Morey Stout, who starred in Mitchelstown Musical Societies production of ‘Spongebob The Musical’, made out with the ‘Best Comedian’ award in the Gilbert section of the AIMS Awards.

As the awards got underway, a large contingent from Mitchelstown Musical Society made their way to the INEC to witness the Award Ceremony first hand, as the local group had received three nominations.
