Lots of TLC on show in Limerick

Team Limerick Clean Up (TLC) took place on Good Friday morning. From dawn community activists, aided by an army of volunteers, took to the highways and byways of the Treaty County to pick litter that has been the bane of TidyTowns groups for decades.

Team Limerick Clean Up, which was founded in 2015, is the brainchild of J.P. McManus, Helen O’Donnell and rugby legend Paul O’Connell – all three have a deep love for their county and believe that every village and town has a role to play in enhancing Limerick.

94 schools, 42 TidyTowns groups and 48 sports clubs were mobilised for this massive day of action.
