Lighting the way in Tallow

In the absence of an adjoining footpath, our roads are not safe for pedestrians – this is especially true at this time of year.

The good news for the people of Tallow and surrounding areas in west Waterford is that following significant investment, Tallow GAA has constructed a fully lit 550 metre walk way within its own grounds (Páirc de Paor) – named after legedary All-Ireland winning goalkeeper and Tallow native, Ned Power.

The impressive amenity was officially opened last Friday evening by the club’s vice president, Jordan Power, who is a great supporter of Gaelic games in Tallow.
