Positive Energy group, a local organisation, have said that it is ‘last chance saloon’ for a hotel and outdoor swimming pool for Fermoy.
The group are now calling for interested parties to purchase lands on sale in Fermoy, located adjacent to the Fermoy town park and leisure centre, to make the development possible.
Currently, the 14-acre site is for sale with full planning permission granted for commercial use on the southern section of the site.
According to the Positive Energy group, it is hoped that the site will soon be purchased and that the groups’ proposals for a 25m by 50m outdoor pool and beach area in the southern section of the site will be considered.
