Lady Luck has shone once more on Downey’s Spar in Castletownroche, as the shop celebrates its second significant lottery sale in less than a year.
The winner recently claimed the €50,000 that they won from a scratchcard which was bought in-store in the last month.
Last March, the shop was also the agent of luck as they sold a €500,000 winning ticket for a EuroMillions Plus draw.
Speaking with The Avondhu on Tuesday this week, Denis Downey said they were ‘ecstatic’ at the news.
