The day kicks off at 10am when Blossom Gate, King’s Castle and the Museum will be open to public until 1pm. There is a wonderful view of the town to be had from both towers.

There will be a guided walk of town from 11am-12.30pm, a parade at 1.30pm and a host of field events from 2pm that include a combat display, kiddies' races and kiddies' battle; a concert featuring Brenda Malloy and the Buttevant Singers, tug-of-War and a treasure hunt.

The White Horse Living History Society will give a combat display at 2pm and will be giving demonstrations throughout the afternoon on medieval life. There will be a very diverse and colourful market element to the day with five members of the Limerick Craft Collective joining in with demonstrations and crafts stalls plus a host of others.
