Kilfinane Tidy Towns recently had a bit of a windfall, as they claimed fourth place in the Limerick Going for Gold competition and won €3,000.
The aim of the competition is to make Limerick a cleaner, brighter place to work, live and visit. The award winners were announced at a function held at the Strand Hotel recently and the overall winners were Castleconnell.
