Leary’s Cross has again been the source of concern and discussion after three collisions occurred in the space of a week. The latest collision at the dangerous junction, located between Castlelyons and Rathcormac, occurred on Monday.
Speaking at Tuesday’s meeting of the Fermoy Municipal District, Cllr O’Leary raised the topic, querying progress on works at the junction. He also acknowledged the progress made by the council in going to a Section 38 public consultation and planning process regarding the realignment of the junction.
