A magnificent limestone monument will be unveiled in Kildorrery on Sunday, April 24 in the village park on the Fermoy Road by Ambassador Dan Mulhall as part of the Kildorrery 1916 Commemoration programme.

The project has been brought to fruition by the local commemoration committee, in association with Kildorrery Community Development.

The cut and guillotined limestone monument has been made possible by many local donations of funds, labour, materials and the use of machinery and is part-funded by Cork County Council’s 1916 Centenary Fund.
