The annual point-to-point races in Kildorrery, due to take place on Sunday next, have become the latest sporting casualty of the weather.
At the time of going to press, it was hoped the meet could be rescheduled for Saturday week, February 23. Kildorrery point-to-point committee chairman, John Fouhy, expressed regret for any inconvenience caused, though they were left with no choice but postpone, due to the course conditions. A full feature will be included in The Avondhu, once details of the new date are confirmed.
