Style, elegance and beauty were the order of the night last Friday, as the Kildorrery Ladies Football and Camogie Club fashion show in The Firgrove Hotel was a great success.
On the night, local models, club members and professionals all took to the catwalk to model clothes from a variety of local boutiques and stores, showcasing clothes and outfits suitable for a range of occasions and everyday wear.
Sponsored by Fermoy Medical Hall, the Best Dressed Lady winner was Jennifer O'Mahony from Kildorrery. There were also a number of raffle prizes up for offer on the night. Kathleen Griffin won the first prize of a signed Cork hurling jersey, David Kelly won a signed hurley and sliotar and Maria Ryland went home with the third prize of a refurbished chair from Drab to Fab, Kildorrery.
The chairman of the club, Patrick Lynch, thanked everyone for their support on the night, particularly those who attended and the shops, boutiques and businesses who showcased their products on the night.
"A special word of thanks to all the businesses who placed adverts in our booklet and all who sponsored prizes on the night. Without this wonderful support this event would not have been possible," he added.
Thanks were also extended to the local models who took to the catwalk and the members of the organising committee who worked so hard to make the fashion show a success.
