March 17 will mark the 40th Fermoy St Patrick’s Day Parade and sees over 500 people already registered to take part in the annual event.
Donal O’Lochlainn, one of the parade organisers, explained that planning is already well underway for this year’s event.
“Planning is well underway and we have about 500 people already registered to take part in the parade. We’re hoping it will be as big as last year,” he said.
Meeting on Thursday, February 20th, John Fant was selected to be the 2025 Grand Marshal of the parade.
