Investigations are ongoing into an alleged arson attempt on Abbeyville House, formerly St Anne’s, in Fermoy town.
The former B&B located at St James’s Place just off Brian Boru Square, is proposed for use as emergency accommodation for international protection applicants.
On Wednesday last, what is believed to be a homemade petrol bomb was allegedly thrown at the building.
