With Imokilly celebrating their county win on Sunday over city giants Blackrock, the focus locally will be on Mitchelstown who contest the county intermediate football final in Pairc Ui Rinn against Kanturk on Sunday, while in hurling, Glenroe will face Kildimo-Pallaskenry in the intermediate hurling final in Kilmallock on Saturday.
Glenroe drew with the opposition in the league-style campaign back on August 29th.
This is Glenroe's first final appearance at this level since 2005, when they lost out and the feeling in the camp is "it's time to deliver!"
Mitchelstown will head for Pairc Ui Rinn and a date with destiny, playing Kanturk in the Cork IFC final wher they will strive to be promoted to premier intermediate ranks next year.
