It proved to be the best possible start to 2019 for Fermoy following its first place finish in the Irish Businesses Against Litter-sponsored cleanest town awards.
This was just reward for the local Tidy Towns committee who’ve worked extremely hard to secure this prestigious title.
Following Monday’s celebrations in Dublin, there was a homecoming party in The Wagon Tavern, Fermoy on Monday evening. Proprietor, Tom Aherne and his staff, laid on a great spread and the occasion was enjoyed by all.
