A bring site in Rathcormac was recently left in a shocking condition after being subjected to illegal dumping, with litter strewn across the area in front of the recycling bins.
While the site has been cleared this week, the incident has once again raised concerns about the ongoing problem of dumping at bring sites across the Fermoy Municipal District.
The issue was highlighted by a local resident who contacted The Avondhu after witnessing the extent of the dumping.
