Huge vote of confidence in Mitchelstown with official opening of enterprise centre

The official opening of the Mitchelstown Enterprise Centre was performed by Fine Gael Minister of State at the Department of Justice and Equality, David Stanton TD on Tuesday.

He paid tribute to the many individuals and organisations who helped make the enterprise centre a reality. It was he said, ‘a model that could and should be replicated nationally’.

Chief Executive of Cork County Council, Tim Lucey, also lent his imprimatur to proceedings describing the centre as ‘a fantastic product’. He went on to highlight the importance of volunteers to the project.

Mitchelstown Enterprise Centre has 10 tenants and employs 25 people – it has been opened since 2015 …
