The annual Anglesboro Tractor Run has been a very profitable venture over the years with numerous good causes benefitting.

Proceeds from the 2017 run are going towards the purchase of a new 'People's Bus' for Ballylanders Day Care Centre.

The bus is a vital link for individuals living in the south Limerick / north Cork area and while fundraising is going well, more money needs to come in.

Anglesboro Tractor Run has never deviated from its December 27th date and the expectation is that a large number of tractors (new and vintage plus some cars) will assemble in the village from 10am onwards on the Wednesday after Christmas.

Members of Anglesboro Vintage Club offer great assistance on the day and the event is always well organised and carefully stewarded.

As regards grub, participants are well looked after by a team of very dedicated locals who are out in their own in the soup and sandwiches department.

Most people are still off work on the 27th with some suffering from 'cabin fever' – the perfect remedy for this is a visit to Anglesboro village with your grey, red or blue tractor.
