Since two-year-old Fionn Doyle from Kildorrery was diagnosed with leukemia less than a year ago, support has been strong and steady for his parents Jack and Eimear in this difficult time and. Such support shone through at a recent coffee morning held in The Hunter's Rest, Mitchelstown.

Fionn's grandmother, Mary Whelan Doyle, thanked everyone who attended the coffee morning and all who supported it, The Hunter's Rest, the Mullally family and their staff members.

She also thanked everyone who supplied the beautiful home baking, the businesses who provided spot prizes and individuals who also held their own coffee mornings in their workplaces to support the Doyle's.

"Please continue to keep Fionn in your prayers, as they have a long road ahead of them," Mary told The Avondhu.
