A 16-year-old's appreciation for the work of a children's hospice compelled her to scale new heights because of the work they do for children with illness and their families.

Gráinne Browne from Mandeville Park, Mitchelstown recently took part in a skydive to raise funds for LauraLynn Children's Hospice.

She followed in the footsteps of her brother Gavin who also took to the skies a few years back when raising money for Youth Suicide Prevention.
