Gardai have arrested a man and seized close to €10,000 worth of drugs in two searches in Mitchelstown.
A large number of gardai launched the searches on Tuesday in fields close to the town.
The find was part of an ongoing operation targeting organised drug dealing in the area and involved detectives and uniform gardai, as well as the Southern Region Dog Unit.
