Community policing and visibility are key focuses for Kilworth’s new Garda, Denis Golden, as the community welcomes a visible presence in the village and surrounds.
Stationed at the village station, Garda Golden brings with him 17 years of experience with An Garda Síochana, where he is taking an active approach to meeting and getting to know the people of the community.
Formerly stationed at Mitchelstown, Garda Golden said he is already familiar with the region, having policed the area through the years and he is looking forward to his new appointment.
