A good weather forecast helped ease the stress levels of those associated with last Sunday’s Galbally Garden Fete – a long running family day that helps raise much needed revenue for Galbally Community Council.

While other events have come and gone, the fete is now in its 38th year. Louise Morrissey, who has a large fan base in the Limerick/Tipperary region was this year’s headline act.

Drawing on a deep reservoir of classic country and Irish tunes, the self-styled Bansha Lass, backed by members of the Ryan Turner Band, turned in a fine performance.
