With a delicious meal in The Firgrove Hotel on Sunday last, Christmas began for the people of Shanballymore, as the festive celebrations kicked off with the annual Christmas party, organised by Shanballymore Ladies Club.

The party is always a great opportunity for people to catch up with friends, relatives or neighbours that they might not see too often and it's a lovely social occasion, just weeks before Christmas.

This year, Shanballymore natives Sheila Walsh and Dennis Mannix had the honour of cutting the cake and the day was enjoyed by all.
