Fermoy traffic and parking – Forum taking ‘proactive approach’

Several proposals, spearheaded by Fermoy Forum, are being put forth as potentially beneficial for Fermoy in regard to ongoing traffic and parking issues.

With the impending opening of Tesco, the group said that it is taking a ‘proactive approach’ to potential issues that could arise and a presentation on suggested solutions and proposals is to be made to the business people of the town at a meeting this Thursday morning, May 1st.

Fermoy Forum, which had recently been ‘in hibernation’, is now spearheading the project acting as a representative body of the businesses in the town, as proposals are being put forward to the council.
