The situation relating to the new extension at Colaiste an Chraoibhín and the need for a new PE Hall at St Colman’s College, Fermoy has been highlighted to the Minister for Education and Skills, Joe McHugh by Fine Gael candidate, Patrick O’Driscoll.

Mr O’Driscoll travelled to the Department of Education offices in Tullamore recently to meet with the minister.

“I requested the meeting with Minister McHugh to bring to his attention concern over the delays to completing the new extension to Coláiste an Chraoibhín, which began in September 2015.

“Four years later it has not been completed, and management, students, staff and parents are rightly concerned that the extension will not be completed by September 2019,” O’Driscoll told The Avondhu.
