A fully festive afternoon is planned in Fermoy as the big Christmas Lights Switch-On takes place on Sunday week, November 23rd at 5.30pm.
Sources have told The Avondhu that Santa himself has the date marked in his diary and is very much looking forward to the occasion, as Fermoy prepares to light up once again this Christmas.
As with previous years, a spectacular pyrotechnic firework display will follow the switch-on, to be enjoyed by all on the night.
