Fermoy native secures funding towards clinical project

A past student of Loreto Secondary School in Fermoy has successfully secured Commercialisation Funding from Enterprise Ireland, as she works on addressing a clinical need in gastroenterology.

Ava O’Flynn completed the DigiBio Healthtech Innovation Programme last year on her career path, an initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs in the rapidly evolving health and wellbeing sectors.

“I wrapped up the DigiBio Healthtech Innovation Programme last summer, gaining deep insight into the Stanford Biodesign process and an MSc in Health Technology Innovation, alongside meeting some of the most impressive people,” she explains.
