Putting together a programme of events for any festival is challenging. Thanks to effective planning and team work, a very interesting line up was assembled for this year’s festival in Fermoy.

The weekend had lots of highlights – the Frank Morgan Film Club launch and a Taste of Fermoy, the open air cinema in Fermoy Town Park – the attendance surpassed expectations and cinema goers gave this novel concept a resounding thumbs up.

In a time when people have a multitude of entertainment options, those associated with Fermoy Festival went to great lengths to engage and entertain the public – on both fronts, they were very successful.
