There was a sense of relief at the door of every school in the local area on Tuesday morning last as students finally found out their Leaving Cert results after a long two months of waiting.
While some exceeded their expectations, others dipped below what they had hoped for but all were delighted to have crossed the major milestone and can now look forward to their bright futures ahead.
Schools were primarily satisfied with the results which were achieved. One girl was awarded the maximum of 625 points in Loreto Secondary School, Fermoy.
