Ken Ross, owner of Ross's Centra store in Watergrasshill, has urged all of his customers to check their EuroMillions tickets after his store was confirmed as having sold the winning ticket for Tuesday night's €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize.

Watergrasshill residents are being urged to check their lottery tickets after it was revealed that one lucky ticket holder had the winning combination for the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize in Tuesday night’s draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at Ross’s Centra in the centre of the village on Tuesday, January 19 – the winning numbers drawn being 2, 9, 15, 23 & 46.

Speaking with The Avondhu on Wednesday, Ken Ross, store owner, said that it was ‘great news’.

“There’s a good bit of excitement in the village, it’s a change as opposed to the usual lockdown news. We’ve no idea who it could be yet, but we’re hoping it’s going to be a local,” he said.
