The 2025 forestry rally circuit moved to Mitchelstown last weekend, with drivers from Ireland and the UK competing for stage honours in the Sean Conlon Memorial Forestry Rally – an event overseen by members of Tipperary Light Car & Motorcycle Club.
The rally formed part of Sligo Pallets sponsored Forestry Rally Championship – at the end of racing last Sunday, Jason Mitchell and Paddy McCrudden in a Skoda Fabia, had made the biggest impression.
There was good news for the local crew of Christy Butler/Ann Hutchinson (Honda Civic), who won Class 11F, with fellow locals Mike Feeney/Ger Clancy (Honda Civic) finishing third in that class.
