The people of Fermoy and visitors alike can now enjoy an extended walk at the popular Knockananig Reservoir in Fermoy.
The new ‘Knockananing Reservoir Walk’ is a 5 km walking trail that takes roughly one hour to complete and has an elevation of 150m.
“It is a long-awaited and fabulous addition to the highly attractive natural reserve and Blackwater Way (Avondhu) Walking Trails,” said Valerie Murphy, CEO of Avondhu Blackwater Partnership CLG.
