Cameron Wallace and Scott Baigent of Eight Degrees craft brewery are very excited by the sale of their business to Irish Distillers for an undisclosed sum of money, but they're not drunk on success.
The duo plan to remain firmly at the helm of the business they started in 2010, and say that, as their production is due to double in the future thanks to the Irish Distillers deal, there may be more jobs for the Mitchelstown area.
"It is likely there'll be more jobs, but this will happen naturally as we grow," Scott Baigent told The Avondhu this week.
"We're like a small family, with 10 staff. That will increase, but we can't predict when."
