Charleville Show delivers in some style

Adjudged Ireland’s ‘show of the year’ in 2016, who’s to say, the feat won’t be replicated this year. Blessed with brilliant sunshine and run to exacting standards, last weekend’s Charleville Agricultural Show was another runaway success.

The challenge for members of the public was getting around to view the 100s of exhibits on this sprawling site. A two-day event that caters for aficionados of livestock, bloodstock and all aspects of farming, Charleville Agricultural Show doesn’t confine itself to these areas.

Side by side with these core elements are all manner of stalls, displays, exhibitions, sporting pursuits and amusements – all of which have widespread appeal.

When you throw in showjumping, vintage, machinery, crafts, baking and small animal shows, you get an idea of the scope and scale of this ‘show of the year’.
