Carraig na bhFear Community Council were responsible for hosting a very successful family fun day last Sunday. They were, as they say, 'blessed with the weather'.
The setting was Fr Daly Park, an amenity area close to the centre of the village. In keeping with the current topic of 'cost of living', admission to all the attractions was free of charge.
The park may not be vast, but there was a lot packed in, including: live music, face painting, vintage display, dog show, balloon moulding, cake stalls and an ice cream van, which surprise, surprise, did a roaring trade.
