Bartlemy’s Community Cafe has proved very popular with individuals looking for an informal, relaxed and social start to their Sunday mornings.
Operating out of the kitchen in Bartlemy Hall, the facility runs from 9am to 11am, allowing plenty of time for other pursuits on the Sabbath.
Women are to the fore in organising and hosting the event, however, the ‘cafe’ is open to everyone. On Sunday last, Brid O’Connell, Margaret Mary Lynch, Helena Carey and young Bridelia O’Connell, oversaw the catering and did a fine job too. There was a nice sized crowd present, all of whom enjoyed the hospitality.
