Bell X1 at Indiependence this summer

Bell X1 will be joining De La Soul, Bastille, Kodaline, The Fratellis and many more in Mitchelstown over the August bank holiday weekend.

Irish band Bell X1 were this week announced as one of the newest additions to the Indiependence Music and Arts Festival 2013 line up in Mitchelstown.

They will be joining De La Soul, Bastille, Kodaline, The Fratellis and many more in Mitchelstown over the August bank holiday weekend. 

The line up for the comedy tent has also just been released, as Cork comedian Colm O'Regan will be joined by Gearoid Farrelly, David Reilly and others in what promises to be a cracking weekend of laughs and guffaws.

Cork’s Underground Film Festival crew will also be showcasing some of Europe’s finest award winning short films ahead of the Dare Media Underground Short Film Festival.

This summer also sees three new indoor areas at Indiependence. There will be the Bier Halle with a full craft beer bar, a games area, indoor stage and also as part of the new apocalyptic darkness arena, there will be a spoken word stage with punk poetry, performance poetry and there will also be a new light arena with a silent disco, family activities and the live broadcast from TodayFM.
