Ballyhooly host Avondhu Scór na bPáistí finals

There was a full house present on Sunday afternoon last as Ballyhooly Community Centre hosted the Avondhu Scór na bPáistí finals.

The first competition was the figure dancing. The Shanballymore school dancers, consisting of Theresa Murray, Kelly O’Grady, Aoife O’Leary, Emily Burke, Emer Coates, Emma O’Brien, Miley Irwin and Rachel Noonan, clinched the title ahead of the Ballygown school dancers, consisting of Aideen O’Connell, Clodagh O’Shea, Billy Buckley, Senan Crean, Joe O’Donoghue, Aimee Daly, Amy Quirke and Allysia Ryan.

In the solo music category, Emily May Dorgan from Killavullen school was the sole competitor. In the solo singing, Kashmir Swarzc from Shanballymore emerged victorious, while Amelia May Roche claimed second spot, with Kelsey Norris from Canon Sheehan Primary, Doneraile finishing in third.
