Kildorrery is to have a resolution to its water issues soon, as this week Irish Water confirmed to The Avondhu that a new €3 million project for new pipes and a new reservoir is to be completed in the village, with an anticipated completion date of just 30 months time.
In a statement, Irish Water stated they had approved over €3 million for the project which includes the construction of a new 750,000 litre reservoir and the replacement of 1,500 metres of watermains in the village.
