Republic of Ireland women’s U17 soccer star Aoibheann Clancy from Kilbehenny, was in Cashel last weekend to present medals to the new batch of girls taking up the sport.
The youngsters were participating in an U10 blitz, the first of its kind since the formation of the Tipperary schoolgirls league a number of years ago.
Aoibheann was guest of honour, fresh from her return from International duty in Lithuania where she and her team-mates topped their UEFA Women’s U17 European Championship Qualifying Round group.
