The glitz and glamour of Hollywood came to Mitchelstown last weekend. This was an Oscars-style ceremony, but not as we know it.
Professional expertise came courtesy of Kevin Rowe Events and significant financial backing from joint sponsors, Co-Op Superstores and Hodgins (Mitchelstown). However, the real stars of the ‘CBS Mitchelstown Night At The OsKaRs’, were the wholehearted locals, who embraced their roles with unbridled zest and enthusiasm.
As the setting for last weekend’s fundraiser, Mitchelstown Leisure Centre, complete with tiered seating and professional lighting, looked incredible.
