
Brian and John Buckley’s farm in Glenville has been selected as one of eight FarmElevate Lighthouse Farms announced by Tirlán Co-Op, as part of a new five-year programme developed with Teagasc to help farmers improve productivity, profitability and sustainability through peer-to-peer learning and knowledge transfer.
The Buckley’s farm in Glenville was selected alongside John Dwyer’s farm in Cashel, and Linda O’Neill’s in Old Parish, County Waterford among others.
The farms selected to participate in the programme reflect the diversity of modern dairy farming and were selected for their strong farm management, innovation and commitment to knowledge sharing.
