This week marks one year since I took the biggest leap of my career and opened the doors of Clodagh Grace Solicitors.
Leaving the security of a job I had for many years to start my own practice was both exciting and daunting. Like anyone starting a new business, there were moments of uncertainty, long days and sleepless nights. Looking back now, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful people of Mitchelstown and the surrounding areas for the incredible support you have shown me over the past year. Whether you became a client, recommended my practice, called in for a chat, shared one of my posts, or simply wished me well, every gesture has meant more than you could know.
To the local businesses in Mitchelstown, thank you for welcoming me so warmly and for supporting another local business. The kindness, encouragement, and friendships I have found here have made me feel truly part of this amazing community.
To my family, friends and colleagues, thank you for believing in me, encouraging me when I doubted myself, and celebrating every milestone along the way.
Running my own practice has been an incredible privilege. Every client who has placed their trust in me has reminded me why I became a solicitor — to help people through some of the most important and challenging moments in their lives. It is a responsibility I never take for granted. Of course, I didn’t do this alone, without my wing woman Margaret Walsh none of this would have been possible. Her dedication, hard work and unwavering support has built Clodagh Grace Solicitors to what it is today. I cannot thank her enough.
As we celebrate this first anniversary, I feel nothing but gratitude. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your support has helped turn a dream into a thriving practice, and we cannot wait to see what the years ahead will bring.
Here’s to the next chapter — and thank you for being part of my first.
