Local towns and villages are showing well after the first round of judging in this year’s Anti-Litter League Challenge, run by Cork County Council.
Round 1 judging saw Fermoy town attain 988.1 marks in Category B, placing them in 2nd position behind early leaders, Kanturk.
Mitchelstown are also faring well in Category C, where 8 towns are competing – scoring 981.5 marks, just over 4 points behind early leaders Clonakilty.
