IGRF 2026 Worlds for Fermoy

Fermoy Rifle Club has been chosen as the venue for the International Gallery Rifle Federation (IGRF) 2026 World Championships.

Club chairman Declan Fitzgerald, who represented Ireland on the international circuit and who, along with the club’s Range Operator Kieran Barry, was instrumental in bringing the event to Fermoy, was beaming at the news this week.

“I am so proud to be chairman of such a fantastic and energetic club that showed itself worthy of holding a World Championship. The hard work and long hours put into attracting the event to our club was worth every minute,” Mr Fitzgerald said.
