Ballyporeen’s Pat Clancy has been elected as the new chair of Dairygold Co-Op, succeeding the previous holder of the position, Midleton’s Seán O’Brien, who recently stepped down having served two years in the post.
A farmer, Pat and his wife Carmel farm in partnership with their son, Seán. They also have two other adult children, Ellen and Alice.
Mr. Clancy has been a member of the Board since 2018, the General Committee since 2008, and the Mitchelstown Regional Committee since 2006. He also served as vice-chairperson of Dairygold from October 2020 to December 2022.
